Behind the Scenes: Japanese Gardening at the Boston MFA Tenshin-en

Go behind the scenes at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). Enjoy a cultural journey with MFA staff and volunteers from Tokyo University of Agriculture’s Class of 1972. Watch as they come together to employ traditional and modern tools & techniques to maintain Tenshin-en, a contemplative garden that merges the culture of Japan with New England. The Garden of the Heart of Heaven was originally designed by the late Professor Kinsaku Nakane of Kyoto, Japan. More details about the garden can be found on the MFA website.
